Dr Helva 'Kraken' Gluswedhen was born in Jutland, Denmark, to Maria and Stenvart Gluswedhen in 1967.
She was educated in local schools till college, at which point she moved to Copenhagan to study marine
biology and engineering. It is during this time that she is noted to have a speech impediment, pronouncing
k as c and c as s. She performed exceptionally well, and at age 21 received a job at the Sidereal Plexus Talos
Program, where she utalised her skills to study deep sea life forms.
After 7 years of being a deep-sea diver, and being the first ever person to record and find the eggs of colossal squids,
she was transferred to the Black Mesa Research Site for 2 years, before being transferred again to the Bahgdad
Research Facility and assigned to the Gateway Program.
At the Gateway Program, she was partnered with Dr Amethyst Ravenscyningdom, undersupervision of Senior Researcher Dr Katherine
Abyss. She, alongside the two others listed, were involved in the Bahgdad Incident. As the only known survivor of the incident,
she spent years in recovery, before being permitted usage of the new Talos-7 suit in order to try and locate the others involved
in the incident as a free agent.

Following her recovery after the Bahgdad Incident, Dr Gluswedhen has been permitted to utalise experimental Sidereal Plexus technology to traverse the multiverse in order to search for the casualties of the Bahgdad Incident. From reports, her main focus seems to be on finding her expedition partner, Dr Amethyst Ravenscyningdom. Given the vastness of the multiverse, it is considered unlikely she will successfully locate either, however her actions serve as an optimal way to test our MV Communications and Transport systems, as well as monitor the recently discovered 'Reality Fractures'.
